Assessment
This set of 3-5 questions will ask you to consider several factors related to the objectives and context of your food environment assessment, including:
- The food environment problem of concern
- The type of food environment your target group engages with
- Types of outlets to include in the data collection
- Types of foods to gather data on
Note: Diet and food environment sections of the UFED tool can be completed in any order and you have the option to complete either section alone or both, in combination. We encourage you to consider completing both dietary and food environment sections in order to explore linkages and synergies between these assessments.
